SURVEY RESULTS The survey highlighted the serious problem of anti social behaviour in many parts of North Ayrshire and Arran - most people rated as the most important issue locally. The only areas which did not rate this as the most important were Largs, Skelmorlie and Arran which placed healthcare top. Overall healthcare was rated as the second most important problem locally with policing and the local environment coming next. Local employment was highlighted as a particular problem by many of those who responded from Kilwinning. Lack of funds for regeneration (and for the Irvine Bay Regeneration Company), derelict building and lack of facilities were repeatedly mentioned by those who responded from The Three Towns. Difficulties with TV reception were mentioned by many from Largs and Skelmorlie and 60% of those who responded from Arran mentioned the problem of affordable housing. The need for regeneration of town centres, better public transport, unemployment, the problem with dog fouling and the lack of facilities for those with disabilities featured highly in responses from Beith, Dalry and Kilbirnie. The Climate Change Bill is currently being debated in Parliament. How important do you think Climate Change is?
If so, how would you rate the service you received?
If yes, do you have any difficulty with coverage?
